Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a Regular Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to float among our Medical Oncology offices in Beaver, Moon/Sewickley, and Cranberry, PA. This role offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and mileage reimbursement with a daylight schedule, Monday through Friday, serving as a Treatment/Infusion nurse.

The RN is part of the care delivery team, ensuring high-quality patient care, collaboration with physicians, and ongoing professional development within UPMC

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (PA/OH/NY)
• At least 6 months RN experience in oncology or related field preferred
• BSN preferred
• IV skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in quality improvement and patient care to improve satisfaction.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and participates in shared governance.
• Maintains productive relationships and communicates safety hazards.
• Teaches patients, families, and staff using adult learning principles and supports precepting.
• Applies nursing process within Relationship Based Care to plan and deliver care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking in patient assessment and care planning.
