Job summary

The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician at Wellstar Health System provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies in an outpatient infusion setting on the Cobb Hospital campus, with travel to NGOC Austell clinic as needed.

Under the Infusion Therapy Manager, you will deliver safe patient care, support age-appropriate needs, and serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff and medical teams while maintaining a compassionate, evidence-based approach.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in the state, with oncology infusion experience.
• Experience administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy or targeted therapies.
• Ability to work in outpatient infusion settings with clinical autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy or targeted therapies.
• Administers hazardous drugs and monitors for treatment-related adverse effects.
• Collaborates with care teams, documents care and participates in staff education.
• Provides age-appropriate, culturally aware patient and family education.
• Acts as clinical resource to nursing staff and leadership; participates in meetings.
