Wellstar Health System in Cobb Hospital seeks an experienced RN Oncology Infusion Clinician for outpatient day shifts. The role involves administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antineoplastic agents and targeted therapies in a center-based infusion setting, with a focus on safe, patient-centered care and education.

The RN provides clinical leadership, mentors staff, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Local travel within 35 miles of Cobb Hospital is required.

Qualifications

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity.
• Partners with the patient and significant others using appropriate teaching methods and updates on goals.
• Practices using current clinical standards including chemotherapy and targeted therapies.
• Meets annual requirements for chemotherapy competence.
