Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Cobb Hospital seeks an experienced RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician to deliver outpatient infusion services, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies, with emphasis on safety and patient education.

Responsibilities include nursing process delivery, interprofessional collaboration, precepting staff, maintaining chemotherapy competency, and providing culturally aware care across age groups at multiple Cobb sites within 35 miles.

Qualifications

• RN with oncology infusion experience including chemotherapy and targeted therapies.
• Licensed and in good standing per state nursing board.
• Outpatient infusion center experience; travel within Cobb/Austell area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process in chemotherapy and targeted therapies per evidence-based standards.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams for safe, high-quality patient care.
• Serve as preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses and staff.
• Maintain annual chemotherapy competency and participate in ongoing education.
• Support patient and family education and culturally aware care.
