Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Infusion team on a full-time, days schedule. The RN provides direct patient care in the Infusion Center and administers IV therapy to patients.

You will monitor vital signs, educate patients and families about infusion medications and premeds, and respond to side effects during infusions. Current Illinois RN license and BLS are required; BSN is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Infusion Center.
• Administer IV therapy and monitor vital signs.
• Educate patients, staff and families about infusion medications.
• Respond to side effects and adverse reactions during infusion.
• Manage a high oncology patient load.
