Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Oncology/Hematology of Loudoun and Reston. You will provide expert patient care, assess conditions, review labs, verify medication doses and administer treatments per JBIs while upholding safety and patient privacy.

You will educate patients, support triage calls, and document care in the EMR. Travel between clinic locations may be required and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment and CPR/BLS certifications.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in clinic or hospital.
• Strong English communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive care per orders and ONS guidelines.
• Assess patients, review labs/vital signs, verify doses and document care in EMR.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and treatment plans.
• Handle triage calls and coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of supplies; ensure compliance with safety policies.
