Job summary

American Oncology Network AON is seeking an RN to provide safe, accurate chemotherapy and supportive care in a multi‑location oncology practice. You will assess patients, review labs and vitals, verify doses, and administer medications while following JBIs and OSHA/NIOSH guidelines.

You will triage calls, educate patients and families about treatment plans, and document thoroughly in the EMR. Travel to other clinic locations and occasional overtime are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment or multi‑state license is required
• Current CPR and BLS certifications are required
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Hematology/oncology patient experience is preferred
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other agents per providers’ orders
• Triages telephone calls and triage messages from patients and facilities
• Educates patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and treatment
• Documents care in the EMR thoroughly and accurately
• Completes safety procedures for biohazardous waste and inventory management
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information
• Works at multiple company locations as needed and may require overtime
