Medasource client seeks an Infusion Pharmacist II to oversee preparation/compounding, order verification, and dispensing of oncology and sterile products. Role focuses on optimizing drug therapy and preventing adverse events.

Position requires Massachusetts pharmacist licensure, hospital or oncology experience, and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Rotating shifts and direct exposure to hazardous agents are possible.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• 3 years of hospital pharmacy, ambulatory care, sterile compounding experience or 5 years retail pharmacy experience with 2 years oncology experience required.
• Or completion of a PGY1 residency.
• Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Oversee preparation and compounding, order verification, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals including sterile products and chemotherapy.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and company policies.
• Evaluate medication orders for completeness and appropriateness; consult with providers and nurses as needed.
• Perform quality control on orders and prepared medications; maintain logs and inventory.
