Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to oversee and perform critical pharmacy operations, including preparation, compounding, and dispensing of a wide range of pharmaceuticals.

The role involves verifying medication orders, consulting with healthcare providers, maintaining quality and safety standards, and guiding pharmacy technicians and students. This position requires an active Massachusetts pharmacist license, oncology experience at level II, and experience in

Competenze

• Active pharmacist license in Massachusetts.
• Oncology experience required, level II.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy, ambulatory care, or sterile compounding is preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee preparation, compounding, order verification, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.
• Dispense sterile products, chemotherapy, biologics, controlled substances, and investigational medications.
• Review provider orders for completeness and clinical appropriateness before dispensing.
• Consult with providers and nurses to clarify medication orders when necessary.
• Review investigational protocols against medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Perform quality control on medication orders and prepared medications.
• Maintain quality and safety procedures including temperature logs and inventory.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and students as assigned.
• Assist with training and orientation of newly hired staff.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and clinical activities within the assigned area.
