Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse with oncology experience to provide safe, accurate chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, and education across multiple clinic locations.

You will follow JBIs, ensure documentation in EMR, and support triage and interprofessional communication. The role requires an active RN license, CPR/BLS certifications, and travel to other clinic sites as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents as ordered.
• Follow ONS standards and guidelines for treatment.
• Provide patient education and ongoing assessment; document in EMR accurately and timely.
• Ensure proper charges are captured per guidelines for medications and activities.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and treatment plan.
