Job summary

American Oncology Management Company is seeking an experienced oncology nurse to provide safe and efficient patient care across multiple clinic sites in Houston. You will assess patients, review labs, administer medications, and educate patients and families about treatment plans.

Responsibilities include triage, accurate documentation in EMR, adherence to JBIs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Occasional travel to other clinic locations and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Ability to travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate patient care, including assessment, review of labs and vital signs, medication safety, dose verification and administration.
• Triage calls and educate patients and caregivers about medications and planned treatment.
• Document care in the EMR and ensure appropriate charges for medications and activities.
• Follow JBIs, OSHA/NIOSH guidelines and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Assist in training new employees and support cross-site operations as needed.
