theMednet is seeking an Oncology Infusion Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions in an outpatient infusion center within a community medical setting.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, symptom management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, with involvement in clinical research where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NP or higher degree from an accredited program.
• Current RN and NP licensure in state of practice.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• ONS/ONCC certification or plan to obtain shortly after hire.
• 2 years outpatient medical oncology experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive assessments after infusion treatments for high‑risk patients.
• Manage acute infusion reactions using established protocols.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests for patient safety.
• Prescribe medications and supportive therapies within scope of practice.
• Conduct follow‑up visits for toxicity checks and treatment clearance.
• Oversee safe administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and supportive infusions with staff.
• Provide real‑time clinical support for symptom triage and escalation of care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, infusion nurses, social workers, and other team members.
• Support clinical trials by assessing eligibility and documenting adverse events.
