Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking an Infusion RN to provide patient care in an oncology infusion setting under physician supervision. You will administer chemotherapy, perform comprehensive assessments, document care in the EMR, and support adherence while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires collaboration with lab and pharmacy teams and a focus on psychosocial support for patients and families.

Qualifications

BSN preferred with oncology nursing experience favored.
ADN required with oncology experience preferred.
California RN license active and in good standing.
ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred.
OCN credential preferred for specialization.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and related treatments with patient safety.
Perform comprehensive physical assessments in-person or via phone triage.
Document all aspects of patient care in the EMR using designated forms.
Support treatment adherence by monitoring patient compliance and continuity of care.
Ensure the infusion center meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Advocate for patients' psychosocial well-being and support needs.
Collaborate with laboratory and pharmacy teams for on-site processing.
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Nurse Manager or Clinical Manager.
