McFarland Clinic PC in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking an Infusion Manager (FT) in Oncology. You will directly supervise infusion nurses and provide hands-on patient care, traveling to outreach sites as needed.
The role partners with physicians and the Director to optimize therapy delivery, staffing, and budget adherence while advancing nursing practice and patient care standards. The position requires an active RN license, BSN, and oncology infusion experience with certification progression
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current State Registered Nurse license.
- Oncology Nursing certification or eligible and obtain within one year.
- Minimum 2 years Oncology and infusion nursing experience.
Responsabilités
- Direct supervision of infusion staff.
- Provide direct patient care including travel to outreach sites.
- Collaborate with physicians and Director on practice needs and delivery processes.
- Develop staffing patterns for adequate coverage.
- Handle hiring, orientation, training, and performance reviews of staff.
- Develop department goals, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate infusion regimens for the EHR and related education.
- Communicate with industry reps about new therapies and staff education.
- Assist with department budget preparation, monitoring and evaluation.
