Job summary

Greater Regional Health in Creston, IA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a fast-paced oncology infusion environment. You will perform blood draws, port access, IV starts, and administer infusions for patients of all ages.

Candidates must hold an Iowa RN license and are encouraged to complete INR and chemotherapy certification after hire; cross-training in radiation therapy is available. A strong focus on teamwork and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current Iowa RN license.
• Willing to complete INR and chemo certification after hire.
• Chemotherapy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Blood draws (peripheral and port).
• Port flushes and starting IVs.
• Infusions for patients of all ages including antibiotics, hazardous drugs, and immunotherapy.
• Inputting orders from oncology clinics.
• Willing to work with patients from infants to adults.
• Cross-train in radiation therapy nursing.
• Effective communication within the department and with supporting departments.
