The role partners with physicians and the Director to optimize therapy delivery, staffing, and budget adherence while advancing nursing practice and patient care standards. The position requires an active RN license, BSN, and oncology infusion experience with certification progression

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State Registered Nurse license.
• Oncology Nursing certification or eligible and obtain within one year.
• Minimum 2 years Oncology and infusion nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Infusion Manager for its Fort Dodge location. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Direct supervision of infusion staff. Provides direct patient care as indicated including travel to outreach clinic sites. Collaborates with physicians and Director regarding practice needs and efficient effective oncology health care delivery processes. Develops staffing patterns to provide adequate coverage. Responsible for hiring, orientation, training, performance reviews, coaching and performance improvement plans of direct reports. Develop department specific goals and objectives, policies and procedures. Coordinates ongoing development and standardization of infusion regimens for EHR. Communications with industry resp regarding new therapies and education of nursing staff. Assists with the preparation, monitoring and evaluation of department budget. 25% to 75% of time will be working as infusion nurse. 50% of time directly supervising infusion nurses. Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Certification/License

• Possession of Current State Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• Oncology Nursing certification or certified eligible and obtain within one year of employment

Hours: 7:30 AM -5:30 PM

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years Oncology and infusion nursing experience
