Piedmont Cancer Institute in Atlanta is hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant to support hematology and oncology patients. The role performs direct patient care in the Infusion Suite and Triage, assists physicians, administers medications, and documents interventions in real time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• HIPAA knowledge and PHI handling.
• 1 year MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the Infusion Suite and Triage as assigned.
• Administers medications and performs venipuncture and related tasks.
• Documents all patient interventions in real time using available software.
• Travels to other areas/locations as needed and supports the care team.
• Educates patients and care partners on plan of care and follow-up.
