Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required for the role.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective human relations and communication skills are required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient comfort and mobility.
• Collect patient data including vital signs and document in medical records.
• Report abnormalities and communicate status to licensed professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform delegated clinical procedures and assist with unit-specific tasks under supervision.
• Support administrative tasks and maintain patient records and nursing unit operations.
• Transcribe and process physician orders in the electronic medical record when needed.
• Maintain supplies and assist with equipment tracking and turnover as required.
