Job summary

Banner Health in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology for our new facility opening in early 2027. You will train at Banner University Cancer Center prior to opening, joining a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized cancer care.

You will assess, plan, and provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient oncology setting, collaborating with oncologists and specialists to support patients and families through complex care pathways.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying; Banner Registry and Travel roles require a minimum of one year in an acute care hospital setting.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or equivalent may be required for some Banner roles at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Implement the plan of care and supervise the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document nursing care in the patient record.
