Job summary

Banner Health seeks an Oncology Scheduling Specialist for Outpatient Infusion in Scottsdale. You will coordinate infusion appointments, tests, and physician visits across a multidisciplinary team, serving as the primary contact for patients and staff. Training at Banner University Cancer Center will occur until the new facility opens early 2027.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, supporting a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on accuracy, empathy, and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Requires two years scheduling experience in a physician’s office or hospital.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with commonly used office software and EMR scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules medical appointments across campus coordinating patients, providers, facilities and payers.
• Uses EMR scheduling software to schedule and reschedule tests, procedures and visits.
• Provides patients with information and directions, and answers questions per protocol.
• Communicates with patients, providers and staff to ensure a seamless, empathetic experience.
