Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology RN for a night shift travel assignment in Miami. The role requires Cerner EMR experience and 2+ years of pediatric Hem/Onc background, with 3x12 hour nights and a 13-week length.

Active FL RN license or multistate license is required, along with BLS and PALS within 1 year. APON certification is required; BSN preferred. Strong family-centered care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid multistate eNLC license required.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit setting.
• Night shift schedule: 19:30-08:00, 3x12 hours.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Weekend requirement of every other weekend or less depending on unit needs.
• No on-call requirement.
• Floating within scope of practice to other nursing units.
• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and medications; monitor central lines and lab results.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
