Epic Care in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a Certified APP (NP/PA) to work full-time in medical oncology and cancer genetics. The role emphasizes genetic risk assessment, counseling, and testing integration within oncology care, with training offered if needed.

Location in Pleasant Hill, California, with a focus on patient-centered, value-driven care. Medical Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin skills are preferred to support diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Active NP or PA licensure in California.
• Prescriptive authority and active DEA license required.
• Interest or experience in cancer genetics, genetic counseling, or precision medicine.
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology & medical oncology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform physical exams and record patient histories.
• Create and manage patient care plans.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and manage health conditions.
• Educate patients and families on illnesses and treatment plans.
• Conduct hereditary cancer risk assessments and genetic counseling.
• Coordinate and interpret genetic testing results with oncology physicians.
