Job summary

Epic Care, a physician-led multi-specialty group, seeks a Certified APP (NP or PA) to join our medical oncology and cancer genetics service lines in Pleasant Hill. The role emphasizes genetic risk assessment, counseling, and testing integration within oncology care. Oncology experience is preferred but training is offered.

Medical Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese language skills are preferred. Location: Pleasant Hill, CA.

Qualifications

• Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
• Active NP or PA licensure in California.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA license required.
• Interest or experience in cancer genetics strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese or other languages preferred.
• Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and data management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and teams.
• Understanding of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology & medical oncology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Record patient histories and symptoms; manage care plans.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests; adjust treatments as needed.
• Participate in tumor boards and coordinate with genetic specialists.
