Job summary

Epic Care in the East Bay area is seeking a Certified APP (NP or PA) to join the medical oncology service line on a full-time basis. Oncology experience is preferred but training is available for motivated candidates. Bilingual in medical Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.

Location includes Castro Valley, Dublin & Hayward, with annual salary 145,000–175,000 depending on skills and experience. Must hold CA NP/PA licensure and DEA prescriptive authority.

Qualifications

• Oncology experience preferred but not required; training available.
• Must hold active NP and PA licensure in CA and prescriptive authority with DEA license.
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology & medical oncology patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform physical exams and record patient histories.
• Create and update patient care plans; order and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose health issues and adjust treatment plans.
• Consult with healthcare professionals and participate in tumor boards.
• Educate patients and families on illness management and prevention.
