Job summary

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking a Front Office professional for our Chandler, AZ location. This full-time role supports clinical operations and patient coordination in a collaborative oncology setting.

You will greet patients, handle scheduling, registrations, payments, and documentation, while learning workflows in a supportive team environment and pursuing a career path into healthcare administration or related medical roles.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical experience preferred.
• Surgical and/or Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collect, post, and reconcile patient payments; resolve payment issues.
• Register patients and update demographic, insurance, HIPAA, and AOB information.
• Schedule, check in/out patients, manage physician calendars, and arrange follow-up appointments.
• Prepare and send testing procedures; manage paperwork and chart documentation.
• Answer and route calls; monitor faxes and patient callbacks.
• Reconcile daily reports and perform other assigned administrative duties.
