The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a medical office, strong communication, and excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office is required to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for incoming patient and referral calls.
• Schedule new patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Request, track, and follow up on medical records prior to appointments.
• Monitor fax servers, voicemails, and patient call-back queues.
• Send new patient paperwork promptly (mail/email).
• Maintain and update patient data using Excel logs and internal systems.
• Coordinate pre-appointment preparation with clinical teams.
• Communicate daily with physicians regarding scheduling needs.
• Support overall office operations with additional administrative duties.
