Job summary

The Cancer Center of Kansas in Wichita, KS, seeks a full-time on-site Patient Financial Counselor to join The US Oncology Network.

You will assess patient financial needs, counsel on insurance benefits and co-pays, assist with drug reimbursement applications and coordinate with foundations and copay programs. Maintain documentation and support front-office operations in a busy oncology clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years medical insurance verification and authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient financial needs and counsel on insurance benefits and co-payments.
• Assist patients with applications for drug reimbursement, copay, and foundation assistance.
• File claims to foundations and copay programs for approved patients.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
