Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a Data Coordinator to collect, enter, and transmit clinical data for investigational drug studies. This role follows a standard M-F schedule, 8am-5pm, at our New Hyde Park location.

You will work with study teams to ensure data quality, coordinate monitor visits, and prepare CRFs. A high school diploma and data-entry experience are required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree and CCRP/CCRC credentials.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical data entry experience.
• Knowledge and training in general office administration skills, including computer applications, filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect, enter/transcribe, and transmit/submit clinical data in paper and/or electronic CRFs, including correction and query resolution.
• Receive and request patient records/data from the study team to complete CRFs.
• Review patient data for completeness and accuracy for assigned studies.
• Coordinate and schedule monitor visits for assigned studies, including exit meetings.
• Identify lab facilities and communicate with Regulatory Affairs for lab certifications.
• Review and utilize protocols as guides for study activities.
• Assure data entry remains current for all assigned studies.
• Attend required meetings for assigned studies (initiation, monitor exit, close-out, audits).
