Job summary

Texas Oncology in Dallas, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. Under direct supervision, you will assist physicians and clinicians with patient care, manage patient flow, and support clinical operations in a busy oncology setting.

The role requires a CMA with a certification and BCLS, and offers competitive benefits, PTO, 401(k), and opportunities for LTIP participation. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:00pm, with potential for growth in a fast-paced, high-touch

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CMA preferred.
• Medical Assistant certificate or diploma required or preferred.
• BCLS/CPR certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Records vital signs, allergies, and medication changes.
• Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms; assists with exams and procedures.
• Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as delegated.
• Maintains exam/treatment room disinfection and supplies; supports scheduling.
• May enter orders under a provider’s direction.
