Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a dedicated Research Nurse/Project Coordinator to support the Grand Rapids cancer and specialty health research operations. You will manage multiple studies, coordinate with investigators, and ensure data integrity across systems.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, a Bachelor’s degree in health or science, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS may be required per protocol; a full-time day shift with a 40-hour workweek is standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a health or science related field
• 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research and project management preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS/PALS as indicated by protocol

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary coordinator / project manager on a variety of research studies with low or moderate regulatory, clinical, and operational complexity; supports the PI and research team members.
• Evaluates and prepares research studies for implementation including budget development, IRB documents, and data collection tools.
• Identifies, recruits, screens, assesses eligibility, and enrolls subjects per protocol; performs protocol-required research activities.
• Assesses patient status; collects, reviews, and documents data in systems per protocol.
• Coordinates and/or performs study activities including specimen handling and adverse event identification as allowed by policy.
