Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator, RN to support daily operations of early-phase oncology trials under supervision of senior staff. This role ensures accurate and timely conduct of clinical research, adhering to protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

Work will involve direct patient interaction, data collection, and maintaining compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing and RN license in state of practice.
• 2 years oncology nursing experience.
• 2 years oncology clinical research experience.
• Working knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and trial management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education on trial participation and potential side effects.
• Monitor day-to-day conduct of studies per protocol and GCP.
• Assist with patient screening and eligibility determinations.
• Facilitate informed consent process and documentation.
• Submit Serious Adverse Event reports with PI support.
• Document deviations related to protocol or SOPs.
