Job summary

System One seeks a Director of Clinical Research Management to shape oncology clinical research and lead high-impact programs. You will drive partnerships with sponsors, CROs, and investigative sites while balancing clinical operations, strategy, and business development.

The role leads oncology programs, supports site identification, budgeting, and contracts, and collaborates with legal teams and sponsors on contracts, program matters, and CRO oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant oncology clinical research/communications experience.
• Experience in clinical research operations and/or the clinical trial environment.
• Strong understanding of clinical research processes and investigative site relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Management or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Prior experience supporting business development activities (client presentations, proposals/RFPs, scopes of work, budgets, and contracts) with sites and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for oncology clinical research programs and drive high-impact initiatives.
• Oversee site identification, selection, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
• Build and maintain relationships with investigative sites and partners.
• Collaborate with legal teams and sponsors on contracts and program matters.
• Manage contracted CRO partners and support program documentation and presentations.
• Assist senior leadership with capabilities and marketing materials; support client/proposal meetings.
• Prepare, review, and revise scopes of work, RFP responses, contracts, and related business development materials.
