Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Research Nurse for the Cancer Center Protocol Office (CCPO) to screen and enroll patients for clinical trials and provide education and triage support. The role involves collaborating with Infusion RNs, APPs and Physicians to ensure protocol adherence and patient advocacy throughout trials.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN and at least 2 years of Oncology RN experience, with a set 40-hour week (Mon-Fri), 7am-5:30pm, and the possibility of one remote day after

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required for practice.
• Clinical nursing experience in oncology or acute care is described in the role.

Responsibilities

• Screen and enroll patients for trials.
• Provide patient education and counsel on trial procedures.
• Triage phone support for patients between treatment visits.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of protocol assessments and events.
• Coordinate with Infusion RNs, APPs and Physicians to support trial patients.
• Ensure adherence to study protocol and regulatory requirements.
