Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in the United States seeks a Director of Clinical Research Oncology to lead cross-functional oncology studies within a global development program. You will mentor teams, oversee study start-up, data review, and regulatory submissions, ensuring flawless execution across sites.

You will collaborate with GCO, Data Management, and Medical Affairs, manage NDA/MAA preparations, and engage with Health Authorities, while aligning with company strategy and patient-first ethics.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medicine (MD) required; uro-oncologist/oncologist preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant oncology clinical research position.
• Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills; ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scientists with mentoring and supervision across studies.
• Collaborate with Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, GCO, QMMC, GMS for integrated study oversight.
• Support clinical studies with medical monitoring and timely responses to site issues.
• Develop high-quality study protocols with standardized processes.
• Oversee medical publications and NDA/MAA preparation with senior staff.
