Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator for Oncology trials. You will coordinate pre-screening, enrollment, and follow-up activities, working with physicians, nurses, and data teams to ensure patient safety and protocol adherence.

The role emphasizes training of aCRCs, collaboration across departments, and precise documentation in EPIC to support high-quality clinical research conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years relevant experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and pre-screening activities for oncology trials and support training of aCRCs.
• Collaborate with investigators and staff to ensure safe, compliant screening and eligibility processes.
• Assist informed consent discussions under supervision, including study schedules and reimbursement aspects.
• Follow SOPs and policies to ensure safe, compliant research conduct.
• Develop tracking forms for active trials and monitor protocol life cycle.
• Provide updates to study teams on workflow changes and patient needs.
• Coordinate patient appointments and adherence to protocol, including tests and procedures.
• Prepare for study visits with biospecimen collection orders, labs, EKGs, biopsies and scans.
• Maintain DMG schemas and ensure monthly updates with training for aCRCs.
• Maintain Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in study activation, site visits, and QA activities as required.
• Write research notes in EPIC and support data quality and source documentation.
