Job summary

NYU Langone Health and NYU Grossman School of Medicine seek a Research Coordinator to support cardiovascular research within the Division of Cardiology. You will coordinate studies, assist with recruitment, data collection, and study monitoring, while ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practices and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible project coordination experience, preferably in a research setting.
• Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Human Subjects' Research coordination and regulatory submission support (IRB, Office of Clinical Trials).
• Informed consent process, patient scheduling, and visit reminders to ensure protocol adherence.
• Data collection, abstraction from charts, and preparation of forms and reports for sponsors.
• Budget oversight, sponsor communication, and monitoring trial finances.
• Monitoring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and liaison with investigators and staff.
