Job summary

Actalent is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to support an oncology trial in New Brunswick, NJ. This 16-hour-per-week onsite role focuses on accurate data capture, timely query resolution, and clear communication with patients and site staff.

You will work closely with the clinical and research team to ensure strict adherence to study protocols and regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality data entry and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• At least 2 years of experience with electronic data capture data entry.
• Hands-on experience working on oncology clinical trials.
• Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and EMR.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to interpret and review patient charts and clinical documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical research staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team in a fast-paced setting.
• Training in HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Collect and enter clinical trial data accurately and promptly into electronic data capture systems.
• Review source documents and patient charts to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency with protocol requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data queries in electronic data capture systems in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly with patients and site staff about the clinical trial, ensuring information is accurate and easy to understand.
• Collaborate with the site research team to maintain compliance with study protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain meticulous records to support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Prioritize tasks to meet study timelines and data entry deadlines.
• Work onsite in a professional clinical setting with clinical and research staff.
