Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to perform clinical research and patient treatment at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.

You will screen patients, obtain consent, collect data and samples, maintain study files, and support regulatory submissions in a fast-paced military healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and local regulations and policies pertaining to research involving human subjects.
• Experience consenting research subjects required.
• Experience processing and shipping samples preferred.
• Experience with IRB submissions preferred.
• Experience in oncology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to site security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for eligibility in participation of research protocol. Consents patients and interviews to collect health data.
• Performs sample collection, processing and tracking; prepares samples for shipment and reports as needed.
• Participates in routine update calls with MCC.
• Implements SOPs, protocols and policies for all assigned projects; assists with regulatory submissions and actions.
