Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support clinical research protocols and patient care in collaboration with Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) and the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Program (IDCRP).

Responsibilities include patient screening, data collection, consent processes, and coordination with physicians. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a T3 Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Public Health preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in clinical research or related field.
• Knowledge of federal and local regulations and policies for human subject research.
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient records and screens for eligibility for participation in research protocols.
• Interviews patients for protocols and collects data for recruitment purposes and informs consent.
• Maintains and organizes files and weekly/monthly status reports for all patients.
• Acts as liaison between patients and physicians and supports data queries.
• Adheres to confidentiality and privacy, ensuring protocol requirements are met per Good Clinical Practices.
• Schedules patients for appointments and assists with protocol audits/visits; may travel to other sites.
