Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Clinical Nurse Supervisor (Associate Clinical Manager) to lead the Oncology Clinic unit, implement policies, and provide expert direct patient care with a focus on safety and quality. This role will coordinate scheduling and flow, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.

The position emphasizes staff development, mentorship, and adherence to professional standards, with a 4‑day shift schedule and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Three years of clinical experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration; ANCC certification in clinical specialty; PALS/ACLS/ENPC as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Manages the implementation and maintenance of unit/department policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practice and organizational standards.
• Leads unit/department team members in delivering direct patient care and applying Professional Practice Model and standards.
• Acts as charge nurse: prepares schedules, assigns patients, oversees admissions/discharges, and manages flow of patients and medications.
• Interprets regulatory standards and hospital policies to ensure compliance with quality and safety initiatives.
• Ensures appropriate staffing resources and adjusts allocations to meet patient and unit needs.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical needs of patients and families; rounds with patients and families to enhance care quality.
