Job summary
Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Clinical Manager to oversee daily operations of a direct patient care department, providing clinical leadership and guiding staff in developmentally appropriate care. You will evaluate outcomes and drive improvements in patient experience and safety.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing required.
- Masters in health-related field also acceptable.
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience and 2 years nursing leadership in supervision.
- BLS/CPR and RN licensure required; ANCC or Magnet certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops and communicates the department's strategic plan and annual goals.
- Selects, trains, and evaluates department staff to promote high performance.
- Makes hiring, promotion and disciplinary decisions with leadership.
- Develops departmental budget recommendations and monitors expenditures.
- Directs daily operations ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
- Provides clinical guidance for developmentally appropriate pediatric care.
- Oversees resource allocation while maintaining budget compliance.
- Establishes performance metrics and pursues continuous improvement.
- Resolves complex patient/family issues with data-informed decisions.
- Leads practice-based research and quality improvement projects.
- Represents the department in senior leadership meetings.
