Job summary

City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine is seeking a Clinical Nurse III to join the Medical Surgical Unit. You will guide and coordinate care for a diverse patient population, including those undergoing chemotherapy and post-surgical recovery, with a focus on oncology-focused nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN) required.
• CA Registered Nurse license current.
• 3–5 years related nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and standards for patient care management.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor complications.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and the care team.
• Support patients and families with psychosocial and spiritual needs.
