City of Hope Orange County is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Pre- and Post-Operative unit in Irvine. This full-time role features 12-hour shifts (3 shifts/week) with day-shift designation and a focus on preparing patients for surgery and supporting recovery after anesthesia and procedures.
Ideal candidates hold a California RN license with 3+ years of PACU or critical care experience, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications.

Supported by a regional network of care, our 11-acre academic cancer campus in Irvine is home to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, our outpatient cancer center, and Orange County's only cancer specialty hospital.
With the recent opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship is available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment. Seamlessly connected to our outpatient cancer center, the new clinical research hospital features 73 inpatient beds, advanced surgical suites, groundbreaking clinical trials, and holistic services such as rehabilitative therapy and spiritual care. As a Clinical Nurse in the Pre- and Post-Operative unit at City of Hope, you will play a critical role in the healthcare continuum, providing specialized care to patients preparing for surgery, as well as, recovering patients from anesthesia and surgery. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of patient care, from monitoring vital signs to managing pain and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery phase. Your expertise is essential to ensuring patient safety, comfort, and a successful post-operative recovery. You will be an integral part of our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of cancer patients. This opportunity is for full-time, 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week), and designated for the day shift (variable shift start time from 5:30am-8:00am).
