City of Hope Orange County is seeking a Clinical Nurse in the Pre- and Post-Operative unit in Irvine. The role supports patients preparing for surgery and recovering from anesthesia and surgery, ensuring safety, comfort, and smooth transition from OR to PACU.
The successful candidate will hold a California RN license, with a BSN or MSN, at least three years of PACU or critical care experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

With the recent opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship is available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment. Seamlessly connected to our outpatient cancer center, the new clinical research hospital features 73 inpatient beds, advanced surgical suites, groundbreaking clinical trials, and holistic services such as rehabilitative therapy and spiritual care. As a Clinical Nurse in the Pre- and Post-Operative unit at City of Hope, you will play a critical role in the healthcare continuum, providing specialized care to patients preparing for surgery, as well as, recovering patients from anesthesia and surgery. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of patient care, from monitoring vital signs to managing pain and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery phase. Your expertise is essential to ensuring patient safety, comfort, and a successful post-operative recovery. You will be an integral part of our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of cancer patients. This opportunity is for full-time, 12-hour shifts (3 shifts per week), and designated for the day shift (variable shift start time from 5:30am-8:00am).
