Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Oncology experience is a bonus.
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self; attends education programs as needed.
• Identifies expected patient outcomes and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems and safety aspects of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes care, communicates for continuity of care, and supports discharge planning.
