Job summary

UNC Health Cary Oncology Infusion is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our patient-centered team. The RN will provide competent nursing care in an oncology infusion setting, coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team, educating patients and families, and ensuring safety and quality in a 40-hour work week.

The position requires NC RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience; oncology infusion experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• 1 year of nursing experience, oncology infusion preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care per professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Educate patients and families as part of the care plan.
• Identify learning needs and participate in continuing education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate and plan care.
• Prioritize tasks and manage care for patients with complex needs.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
