Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in The Woodlands, TX seeks a Clinical Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within ATC Woodlands. The role involves coordinating care across the continuum and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has chemotherapy administration experience and at least one year of nursing experience; Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Texas is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience with chemotherapy administration.
• Emergency care experience preferred.
• Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead patients, families, and team members toward meeting future care needs.
• Coordinate chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and IV therapy.
• Respond to chemotherapy reactions and clinical emergencies.
• Provide patient education and service coordination for continuity of care.
• Function autonomously within the nursing scope and collaborate with physicians and teams.
