Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse, Outpatient, for the Ambulatory Treatment Center in the Northwest Houston area. You will administer and monitor chemotherapy and other infusions for adult patients, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families to improve outcomes.

Ideal candidates have infusion experience, oncology certification preferred, and hold Texas RN licensure with required BLS/CPR/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Texas (or eligible)
• Infusion experience in oncology; chemotherapy infusion preferred
• BLS/ CPR/ ACLS / PALS on hire or as required by department

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor systemic cancer therapies and infusions.
• Educate patients and families across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and resource use.
• Perform procedures including IV access, infusion administration, and adverse event monitoring.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
