Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Development Specialist for our West Houston campus. You will serve as a clinical expert, educator, and change agent, advancing nursing practice and workforce development across ambulatory oncology services.

The role partners with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to design competency tools, implement education programs, and promote evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

Five+ years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
Three+ years of clinical nursing experience including staff development, education, or competency management.
Strong collaboration with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Promote evidence-based practice and lead practice change initiatives.
Develop and coordinate onboarding, orientation, and continuing education.
Lead annual competency assessment and validate skills.
Collaborate with leadership to improve patient outcomes.
Foster professional development and succession planning.
