MD Anderson Cancer Center's Ambulatory Treatment Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide specialized infusion therapy across the continuum of care. The role involves administering chemo, immunotherapy, and other infusions, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and educating patients and families for outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure in Texas with ACLS and PALS, two years of nursing experience in infusion therapy preferred, and may pursue OCN certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Required: Texas RN license; ACLS; PALS.
• Preferred: OCN or specialty certification.

Responsabilités

• Infusions administered may include chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, blood products, IVIG, growth factors, antibiotics, electrolytes and hydration.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication; educate patients and family/caregivers.
• Develops collaborative professional relationships with physicians and health care team.
• Ability to assess and educate patients to ensure future care needs are met.
